A/Prof Benny Goh

A/Prof Benny Goh obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Master's in Dental Surgery in Endodontics from the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore (NUS). He was also conferred with Membership in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. He is accredited as a Specialist in Endodontics by the Singapore Dental Council.


A/Prof Goh is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, NUS. He is the Programme Coordinator of the undergraduate Endodontic Programme and is also involved in postgraduate Endodontic training. A/Prof Goh is currently the Chairperson of the Dental Specialist Accreditation Committee for Endodontics.

Dr. Kuah

Dr Kuah Hong Guan

BDS (S’pore), MDS (S’pore), MRD RCS (Edinburgh), FAMS (S’pore)


Dr Kuah Hong Guan obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Master of Dental Surgery in Endodontics from the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore. He also holds a Membership in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He is accredited as a Specialist in Endodontics by the Singapore Dental Council.


Dr Kuah currently serves as a Visiting Consultant at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He previously served as President of the Society of Endodontists, Singapore, where he played a key role in advancing the specialty through continuing education, professional development, and fostering collaboration within the endodontic community.

Dr Sherine Yang

BDS (S’pore), MDS (S’pore), M Endo RCS (Edinburgh)


Dr Sherine Yang graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She practised at the National University Hospital before pursuing further specialist training in Endodontics. She graduated with a Master of Dental Surgery in Endodontics from the National University of Singapore and obtained her Membership in Endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Dr Yang is recognised as a Specialist in Endodontics by the Singapore Dental Council.


Since her postgraduate days, Dr Yang has a special interest in regenerative endodontics in the management of immature teeth in young patients. She is currently a Clinical Instructor and teaches undergraduate students at the Faculty of Dentistry, NUS.

A/Prof Lee Chee Wee

BDS (S’pore), MDS (S’pore), MRD RCS (Edinburgh)


A/Prof Lee Chee Wee obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Master of Dental Surgery (Endodontics) from the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore (NUS). He also obtained his Membership in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dr Lee is recognised as a Specialist in Endodontics by the Singapore Dental Council.


Before his private practice, A/Prof Lee Chee Wee was a military dental officer and served as the Head of Clinical Dental Services in the Singapore Armed Forces Military Medicine Institute. A/Prof Lee has been actively teaching undergraduates in the NUS Faculty of Dentistry for more than 18 years. He is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, NUS, and the Deputy Coordinator of the Undergraduate Endodontic Programme.

Dr Ivan Koh

BDS (S’pore), MDS (S’pore), M Endo RCS (Edinburgh)


Dr Ivan Koh graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from NUS and later completed his Master of Dental Surgery in Endodontics and Membership in Endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Dr Koh is a recognised root canal specialist by the Singapore Dental Council.


He practised at NUH Dental Centre, gaining experience in complex endodontic cases, including orthograde and retrograde retreatments, root resection surgeries, and vital pulp therapy. Dr Koh has been a part-time educator at the NUS Faculty of Dentistry since 2014 and has lectured extensively on endodontics locally and regionally.

Dr Helena Koh

BDS (S’pore), MDS (S’pore), M Endo RCS (Edinburgh)


Dr Helena Koh is accredited by the Singapore Dental Council as a Specialist in Endodontics. She graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore and began her career as a dental officer in the government dental service. She later pursued a Master of Dental Surgery in Endodontics at the National University of Singapore, where her research focused on endodontic flare-ups. She was conferred Membership in Endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dr Koh served as an Associate Consultant in the Endodontics Unit at the National Dental Centre, where she was also a member of the Infection Control Committee.

Dr Mehek Kalra

BDS, MDS (S’pore), M Endo RCS (Edinburgh)


Dr Mehek Kalra obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from India, where she graduated with distinction. She practiced in India before pursuing a Master of Dental Surgery in Endodontics from the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore. She obtained Membership in Endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She has also completed a Diploma in Oral Implantology from the Academy of Oral Implantology, USA.

Upon attaining her Masters, Dr Kalra practiced Endodontics at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, followed by the National Dental Centre, before embarking on her private practice career. She is currently a Visiting Specialist at the National Dental Centre Singapore. Dr Kalra is accredited as a root canal specialist by the Singapore Dental Council.

Dr Guo Weidi

BDS (S’pore), MDS (S’pore), M Endo RCS (Edinburgh)


Dr Guo Weidi is a Specialist in Endodontics, accredited by the Singapore Dental Council. He was awarded the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Local Dental Scholarship to pursue his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the National University of Singapore, where he also completed his Master of Dental Surgery in Endodontics. He is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (Endodontics).


Dr Guo served as Head Dental Officer in the SAF, leading initiatives to modernise clinical workflows, enhance patient safety, and improve access to dental healthcare for SAF personnel. He also served as Treasurer of the Singapore Dental Association. He is currently a part-time tutor at the Faculty of Dentistry, NUS.

Dr Valene Phang

BDS (S’pore), MDS (S’pore), M Endo RCS (Edinburgh)


Dr Valene Phang graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore. She provided primary dental care at several public healthcare institutions before pursuing postgraduate training. She obtained her Master of Dental Surgery in Endodontics from NUS and was awarded Membership in Endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. She is accredited as a Specialist in Endodontics by the Singapore Dental Council.


She previously practised as an Associate Consultant in Endodontics at NDCS, where she supervised junior dental officers and chaired the committee overseeing advanced clinical education courses. She is currently a Visiting Specialist at NDCS and a part-time tutor at the NUS Faculty of Dentistry, teaching postgraduate endodontic residents. Dr Phang has published research on bioceramic materials in a high-impact journal and continues to contribute to clinical research at NDCS.

Dr Heng Pei Fang

BDS (S’pore), MDS (S’pore), M Endo RCS (Edinburgh)


Dr Heng Pei Fang graduated on the Dean’s List from the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She was awarded the IFDEA Medal in Paediatric Dentistry. Her interest in endodontics led her to obtain her Master of Dental Surgery in Endodontics from the National University of Singapore in 2018, and she was awarded the Society of Endodontists Singapore Gold Medal upon graduation. She was conferred a Membership in Endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in the same year.


Dr Heng was previously a Visiting Specialist in the Department of Endodontics at National Dental Centre Singapore. She is currently a part-time tutor at NUS. The Singapore Dental Council accredits her as a Specialist in Endodontics.
