A/Prof Benny Goh obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Master's in Dental Surgery (Endodontics) from the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore. He was also conferred with Membership in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. He is accredited as a Specialist in Endodontics by the Singapore Dental Council.
A/Prof Goh is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore. He is the Programme Coordinator for the Undergraduate Endodontic Programme. He is involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate Endodontic training. Dr Goh is also a member of the Dental Specialist Accreditation Committee for Endodontics.
Dr Kuah Hong Guan obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Master of Dental Surgery (Endodontics) from the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore. He was also conferred with Membership in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. He is accredited as a Specialist in Endodontics by the Singapore Dental Council.
Dr Kuah is a Visiting Consultant at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He was a past President of the Society of Endodontists, Singapore.
Dr Sherine Yang graduated from the National University of Singapore, Faculty of Dentistry with Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She practiced at the National University Hospital before pursuing further specialist training in Endodontics. She graduated with a Masters in Dental Surgery in Endodontics from the National University of Singapore and obtained her Membership in Endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Dr Yang is recognized as a Specialist in Endodontics by the Singapore Dental Council.
Dr Yang is also a Clinical Instructor and teaches undergraduate students at the Faculty of Dentistry, NUS. She is also a reviewer for the Singapore Dental Journal.
A/Prof Lee Chee Wee obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Masters in Dental Surgery (Endodontics) from the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore. He also obtained his Membership in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dr Lee is recognised as a Specialist in Endodontics by the Singapore Dental Council.
Dr Lee Chee Wee had been a uniformed personnel in the Singapore Armed Forces and was the Head of the Clinical Dental Services in the Military Medicine Institute. Currently, he is a Visiting Specialist Volunteer with the Military Medicine Institute.

Dr Ivan Koh graduated with his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore, Faculty of Dentistry. He practised at NHG Polyclinics and National University Hospital before pursuing a Master of Dental Surgery in Endodontics at the National University of Singapore. He also obtained Membership in Endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Upon attaining his Master’s, he practised Endodontics at the new NUH Dental Centre before embarking on his private practice career. Dr Koh is recognised as a root canal specialist by the Singapore Dental Council.
Dr Koh teaches part-time in the Faculty of Dentistry, NUS.
Dr Helena Koh graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore. She was a dental officer in the government dental service (Health Promotion Board and National Dental Centre) before pursuing a Master of Dental Surgery in Endodontics from the National University of Singapore. She was also conferred a Membership in Endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Prior to joining us, she was an Associate Consultant in the Endodontics Unit at the National Dental Centre. She is accredited as a root canal specialist by the Singapore Dental Council.
Dr Mehek Kalra obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from India, where she graduated with distinction. She practiced in India before pursuing a Master of Dental Surgery (Endodontics) from the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore. She obtained Membership in Endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She has also completed a Diploma in Oral Implantology from the Academy of Oral Implantology, USA.
Upon attaining her Master’s, Dr Kalra practised Endodontics at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, followed by the National Dental Centre, before embarking on her private practice career. She is a Visiting Clinician at the National Dental Centre Singapore.
Dr Guo Weidi received the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Local Dental Scholarship to pursue his Bachelor of Dental Surgery with the National University of Singapore (NUS) where he also obtained his Master of Dental Surgery in Endodontics. He is also a member of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (Endodontics). During his residency, he was awarded the Oral Health Academic Clinical Program Annual Scientific Meeting Young Investigator Award for his master’s thesis research work.
Dr Guo Weidi was Head Dental Officer in the SAF where he drove efforts to advance the delivery of dental healthcare for SAF personnel and modernised processes to improve patient safety. He was also the Treasurer for the Singapore Dental Association and is currently a visiting clinician at National University Centre for Oral Health, Singapore and does part-time teaching in the Faculty of Dentistry, NUS.
Dr Valene Phang graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore. Prior to pursuing postgraduate studies, she provided primary dental care at various government institutions (Health Promotion Board, NHG Polyclinics and National Dental Centre Singapore). She attained her Master of Dental Surgery (Endodontics) from the National University of Singapore and was conferred a Membership in Endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. She is also accredited as a root canal specialist by the Singapore Dental Council.
She practised endodontics as an Associate Consultant at National Dental Centre Singapore, where she still serves as a Visiting Specialist. She is also a part-time tutor at the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore (NUS), where she teaches the postgraduate endodontic residents.
Dr Heng Pei Fang graduated on the Dean’s list from the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S) in 2012. She was awarded the IFDEA Medal in Paediatric Dentistry. Prior to further education, she worked as a dental officer at the National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS) from 2012 to 2015. Her interest in endodontics led her to obtain her Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S) in Endodontics from the National University of Singapore in 2018 and she was awarded the Society of Endodontists Singapore Gold Medal at graduation. She was conferred a Membership in Endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. In her time as a registrar at NDCS, she presented her Master’s research in regenerative endodontics at the 2018 Tripartite Research Day Symposium and her poster was awarded a prize. Prior to private practice, she was an associate consultant at NDCS and maintains her practice there now as a visiting specialist. The Singapore Dental Council accredits her as a Specialist in Endodontics.
Dr Lew is an accredited specialist in Endodontics by the Singapore Dental Council. She received her Master of Dental Surgery in Endodontics from the National University of Singapore and Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Malaya. She was also conferred Membership in Endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. She has published her research in root canal infection microbiology and cracked teeth in an internationally renowned journal.
Dr Lew was an Associate Consultant in the Endodontic Unit at the National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS) before joining us. She is also a Visiting Clinician at NDCS.
Dr Stella Sun graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S) and a Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S) in Endodontics. She was conferred a Membership in Endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and is also a board-certified specialist in endodontics with the Singapore Dental Council and a fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS). Prior to private practice, Dr Sun was an associate consultant at National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS), where she received a Young Investigator Award for her research in vital pulp therapy for her M.D.S. During her years of service in NDCS, she also received multiple NDCS Smile Awards and Singapore Health Quality Service Awards in recognition of her outstanding patient service. She currently maintains her practice in NDCS as a visiting specialist.
